The Concours

In February of this year David bought a 1984 Porsche 911 (Targa) and joined the Porsche Club of America. In October, the Hurricane Region (our local branch) had a "fun" concours near our home in Apex, so we decided to go and check out the cars. Once we arrived, we decided to go ahead and enter the Porsche just so we could say that we participated.

It turns out that the Porsche didn't win anything in its division but it was a lot of fun to look at the different cars. There was an olive green 356 that was just beautiful and even some Ferraris to gape at. I ended up winning the first door prize (which was an emergency road kit) and that was a bunch of fun, too.

Oh, and I couldn't leave the Corvair out, so I brought it and put it in the parking lot.
